The Flow of Life
In the silence, I find my words,
As days drift by, life unfurls.
Connections lost, like fleeting birds,
A natural flow, the world twirls.
I drift away, despite their tries,
Their warmth, their light, I failed to share.
In distance, bonds dissolve, goodbyes,
Yet guilt's embrace, I do not wear.
Friendships are valued, but hard to keep,
Complex and fragile, like a fine thread.
Sparks that start, soon fall to sleep,
Leaving echoes of words unsaid.
Life's a mosaic, relationships weave,
A path I tread, uniquely mine.
In time, perhaps, I'll learn to leave,
A space for ties that intertwine.
